Gile’s Axolotyl resides in my office now, and stares at the back of my chair all day long, it’s a little weird..

This weekend marked the release of Evangelion Tinned Coffee, a special edition coffee for Y170 per tin, normally priced at only Y120 but with nicer graphics.. crowds of people were taking her photo, not many buying the coffee though.

Zero ventures to his rock..

Today we finally got our Blue Tongue Lizard, at the wildexpo at castle hill showgrounds.. we’ve been waiting for the show for weeks, but more so, we have been planning on getting the lizard for more than a year.

We had already picked out a name for him/her (you can’t tell what sex they are until they mature, and the shape of their head actually gives it away..), which was to be named Boris. But once we found the lizard at the expo that we wanted, there were a few to choose from, mostly 8-12 weeks of age, and very nervous looking, but then there was this one, 6 months old, hand reared, very friendly, and affectionate, we just had to have him/her..

But He/She is so cute, Boris really didn’t suit. We met another Bluey today called Bubblegum, a little too cute a name for us, and we had almost settled on “Pepsi”, but seeing as none of us drink Pepsi, we abandoned that also..

So whilst the wife and kids were sitting around his new home, watching him explore, sipping their cans of drink, it came to me.. Zero.. as in Coke Zero (our beverage of choice these days).. so say hello to Zero..

This is my home away from home.. I am here at the moment, but heading back to Sydney tomorrow night.. I love it up here, the vibe, the atmosphere, the culture, so much to absorb, in so little time.. Lots of renovations happening at the moment, new buildings going up, trees being moved, expansion to cope with the workload really..

2 doors up from our house, and just prior to school breaking out, Wires came to capture this little lizard.. well not that little.. if you click on the image, it will take you to Flickr so you can put his size to scale, this guy was HUGE..

This building, alongside the Thames, is just a part of the amazing architecture that makes up the greater London area. Very glad i had the opportunity to do some exploring over the weekend.
